Canvas:  size of your choosing, not too small and no larger than 20 x 24, rectangle or square is fine.

ACRYLIC  PAINTS - Golden or Liquitex is recommended for a more permanent lasting painting,  student grade is good for learning if you aren't concerned for its durability over time,

Cadmium Yellow Medium or Hansa Yellow Medium

Cadmium Yellow Light or Hansa Yellow Light

Cadmium Red light or Napthol red

Alizarin Crimson

Ultramarine Blue

Phthalo Blue green shade

Dioxizine Purple - optional

BRUSHES -

'Bristle flats or filberts various sizes, 2 smaller synthetic rounds and flats for detail. A liner to sign with.

You can find a good pack with various sizes of brushes.

Container for water

rag for cleaning off brushes

palette:  acrylic, glass, paper palette paper pad

palette knife for mixing

small jar of fluid matte medium

apron or wear clothing you won't worry about getting paint on

My intent is to help you on your way to the joy of painting, don't worry about which brush to purchase, you will learn what size and type of brush you like to work with as you begin painting.

A variety pack will work fine.
