When hiking the Sierra Mountains, I'm always on the lookout for steams and lakes. I love the peace that water brings and the sound of the stream flowing over the rocks. Water brings life, and with this painting you can feel the life in it. It gives me great joy to be able to paint these wonderful scenes from the Sierra Mountains.
